About Google Adsense

Google Adsense is an online programme that helps webmasters out there, earn extra money from their website. Adsense has become so popular because of the way it uses unobtrusive banners, links and buttons, to serve adverts which are relevant to the website displaying the ads. Another reason why Google's adsense is so popular, is due to its highly customisable style. You are able to change all of the colours of the adverts with a few simple clicks and enable the adverts to look like part of your site. The code that is produced is also easy to install on any page of your website, and is therefore another great feature about Adsense.
Adsense is a Javascript program that is highly efficient. Google caches the website and notes what type of site it is by looking at the keywords throughout each page. When a page is then requested, Google will remember what the site is about, and then serve adverts based on that content. These adverts are produced soley through Google Adwords, which is how advertisers get their site into the Google Ads. If no relevant adverts are found by Google, either because the site lacks in content or there simply aren't any available ads, Google will display "Public Service Announcements" (PSA's) to fill the space, or if you have selected a colour to display in the background, it will just show the background colour.
